Waterstone of Lexington Facilities Director Honored by Mass ALA

The Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA) honored Carlos Rodriguez

Burlington, MA (August 2024) – On July 31st, the Massachusetts Assisted Living Association (Mass-ALA) honored Carlos Rodriguez, Facilities Maintenance Director at Waterstone of Lexington, at their annual Excellence Awards Dinner with the 2024 Facilities and Maintenance Award.

“Our residents feel safe and secure with Carlos leading the maintenance department at our community,” said Fred Kelly, MSW, MBA, Executive Director of Waterstone of Lexington. “He pairs incredible mechanical and technical knowledge and skills with a calm demeanor, skillfully tackling any job that comes his way. Our residents’ comfort is always top of mind for Carlos, and he routinely goes out of his way to fix pressing issues in a timely manner.”

Rodriguez also serves as a mentor to the other maintenance technicians on his team and continuously challenges and inspires them to grow as professionals. He has created a team that residents can depend on to uphold high safety and performance standards, ensuring the continued safety of the community. The Facilities and Maintenance Award reflects Rodriguez’s willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that the living experience for all Waterstone of Lexington residents is outstanding.
