Last Dip: The town this week announced its end-of-season schedule for the town pool and the Old Reservoir. The Old Reservoir will be open its final two days of the year on Saturday and Sunday, from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Last Ditch Effort: Residents can take common household hazardous products to the Minuteman Hazardous Products Regional Facility, located at the Lexington Compost Facility, 60 Hartwell Ave., on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Identification and proof of residency is required, and items like lawn and garden materials, automotive products, laundry and kitchen cleaners and household materials will be accepted. Last Decorative Art Deals: The Lexington Arts and Crafts Society's annual artisans' market ends today, Saturday, Aug. 21, so if you haven't already been – or even if you have – check out the variety of work available for sale, including jewelry, cards, needle arts, paintings, polymer clay, woodwork, ceramics, baskets, metalwork and decorative arts. That sale is open today from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
