Sunday, Feb. 13

2:57 a.m. – A door to a business was reported open on Mass Avenue.

9:07 a.m. – Police checked on a house reported egged on Baker Avenue.

11:16 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Mass Avenue at Harrington Road.

12:02 p.m. – Police checked on a person on Adams Street.

3:44 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported on Shirley Street.

7:45 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Lowell Street.

8:54 p.m. – Police received a BOLO from Malden Police on a suicidal man possibly en route to Winchester.

 

Saturday, Feb. 12

6:19 a.m. – A car was reported blocking the road on Grove Street.

8:31 a.m. – An accident occurred on Marrett Road. The driver was trapped in the car, and once freed was taken to Lahey Hospital for basic life support. The car was towed. The driver was cited.

10:27 a.m. – A cell phone was reported found on Adams Street.

10:29 a.m. – Possible identification theft was reported on Fiske Road.

12:43 p.m. – A car was reported blocking the road on Kendall Road.

12:50 p.m. – A deer with an injured back leg was reported to Animal Control on Turning Mill Road.

3:09 p.m. – Bothersome letters were reported on Bedford Street.

3:20 p.m. – A driver on Bedford Street was cited for driving with a suspended license.

4:09 p.m. – An injured deer was reported on Potter Pond Road.

5:54 p.m. – Police checked on a person walking in the street on Woburn Street.

6:10 p.m. – A restraining order violation was reported on Vaille Avenue.

7:24 p.m. – A purse was reported found on Stedman Road.

8:35 p.m. – A restraining order violation was reported on Cliffe Avenue.

8:56 p.m. – An accident was reported on Maple Street.

9:10 p.m. – Larceny was reported on Lincoln Street. Sometime during a hockey game at the ice rink, the visiting team’s locker room was entered. Cash and an iPod were reported taken. Possible description of suspect: a man about 6 feet tall, in his 20s, wearing a red windbreaker, jeans and a white hat.

10:00 p.m. – A civil dispute between a landlord and tenant was reported on Shirley Street.

10:03 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Hartwell Avenue.

 

Friday, Feb. 11 

8:11 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Hill Street.

8:12 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Woburn Street.

8:13 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Spring Street.

8:47 a.m. – Two cars were reported blocking traffic on Maple Street.

9:16 a.m. – A car was reported parked in front of a hydrant on Robbins Road.

9:25 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street.

9:49 a.m. – Police received a BOLO from Woburn Police.

11:08 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Normandy Road.

11:22 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Slocum Road.

11:47 a.m. – Larceny from a locker was reported at a business on Forbes Road. A wallet containing $1,000 cash and credit cards was taken between Feb. 10 at 3:30 p.m. and Feb. 11 at 2:30 a.m. Police are investigating.

11:49 a.m. – A car was reported blocking a hydrant on Grapevine Avenue.

3:26 p.m. – A four-car accident involving a police car was reported on Maple Street. The accident occurred when two cars pulled over to let a police car with its lights flashing pass. Another driver did not see the cars, and hit them, pushing the cars into the police car. The police officer and one driver were taken to Lahey Hospital with minor injuries and were later released. The driver was cited. Minor damage to the cars was reported.

3:31 p.m. – As the result of a traffic stop, a Somerville man was arrested on Mass Avenue and charged on a warrant from Woburn with malicious destruction of property, police said. James M. Houghton, 49, of 17 Sycamore Terrace, was also charged with driving with a suspended license, police said.

7:59 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Courtyard Place.

9:17 p.m. – A civil citation for marijuana use or possession was given on Woburn Street.

10:24 p.m. – Trash dumping was reported on Captain Parker Arms.

11:59 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on Whipple Road.

 

Thursday, Feb. 10

6:08 a.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on April Lane.

7:18 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Bedford Street.

8:23 a.m. – A sick raccoon was shot by Animal Control on Westview Street.

8:32 a.m. – A pack of coyotes chasing a deer was reported on Woburn Street.

10:43 a.m. – A parking complaint of an oil truck in the road was reported on Robinson Road.

12:28 p.m. – A parking complaint of a Bud Light truck blocking the road was reported on Mass Avenue at Waltham Street.

12:51 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Mass Avenue.

4:12 p.m. – Credit card fraud was reported on Webster Road.

4:26 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Worthen Road.

6:23 p.m. – Trash was reported in the road on Mass Avenue.

6:35 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Grove Street.

7:23 p.m. – A car was reported disabled on Bedford Street.

8:02 p.m. – Trespassing was reported on April Lane.

9:05 p.m. – A domestic situation involving custody issues was reported on Cliffe Avenue.

10:01 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Rindge Avenue.  A resident reported two men rang the doorbell and talked to her about switching to Verizon. After they left, she received an e-mail about a suspicious person in the neighborhood. Police checked the area and did not find the men. Police are working to determine with Verizon whether representatives were out in the area.

10:15 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Emerson Gardens Road.

 

Wednesday, Feb. 9

1:40 a.m. – A minor water break was reported on Bedford Street. The DPW was notified.

3:24 a.m. – Police received information o an ATM break at a gas station in Chelmsford.

7:52 a.m. – A three-car accident was reported on Marrett Road. Two other cars avoided the accident but got stuck in the snow and had to be towed out. 

8:30 a.m. – The state DPW was notified lights were not working on Marrett Road at Cranberry Hill.

8:34 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Muzzey Street.

8:55 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street at Rte. 128.

8:58 a.m. – An accident involving a police vehicle was reported on Mass Avenue in Lexington Center. The officer was checking on an illegally parked car. The door of the police car was struck by a passing car. The officer was not hit, but was taken by ambulance to Mt. Auburn Hospital for evaluation, and later released.

9:27 a.m. – A tow was ordered on Mass Avenue.

10:06 a.m. – A dispute between neighbors was reported on Hayes Lane.

10:40 a.m. – A license plate was reported lost on North Street.

11:21 a.m. – A handicap parking complaint was received on Bedford Street.

11:27 a.m. – Cars were reported blocking a hydrant on Tower Road.

12:03 p.m. – A car was reported stuck in a snow bank on Park Drive.

12:15 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Redcoat Lane.

12:25 p.m. – Theft from a building was reported on Shade Street. Sometime during the night, a house under construction was entered and 170 feet of copper piping, valued at $2,000, was taken from the house.

1:19 p.m. – Two loose dogs, yellow and black labs, were reported on Thoreau Road.

1:37 p.m. – An accident occurred on Mass Avenue. One car was towed. No injuries were reported.

3:15 p.m. – Cars were reported blocking the street on Woodland Avenue.

5:59 p.m. – A past hit-and-run accident was reported on Mass Avenue.

6:33 p.m. – Police checked on a report of suspicious persons on Theresa Avenue.

7:27 p.m. – Vandalism to a car was reported on Lincoln Street. Someone dumped a large amount of Chinese food into the interior of a car, believed to be retaliation over an argument for a parking spot. The person who dumped the food was described as a woman driving a Suburban.

10:22 p.m. – A truck was reported disabled on Lincoln Street.

10:58 p.m. – A driver on Bedford Street was cited for driving with revoked insurance.

 

Tuesday, Feb. 8 

6:44 a.m. – Police checked on the traffic lights on Woburn Street at Lowell Street.

7:52 a.m. – A driver on Lowell Street was cited for driving without a license.

8:14 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Outlook Drive.

8:36 a.m. – The DPW was notified of traffic lights flashing on Mass Avenue.

8:40 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Marrett Road.

10:08 a.m. – A car was reported disabled on Bedford Street.

1:10 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Sherburne Road.

1:25 p.m. – An accident occurred on Waltham Street.

4:07 p.m. – A wire was reported down on Lowell Street.

4:28 p.m. – A car was reported disabled on Waltham Street.

4:53 p.m. – An accident occurred on Lincoln Street.

9:04 p.m. – Police checked on a report of a large pothole on Coolidge Avenue.

10:08 p.m. – Loose dogs were reported to Animal Control on Concord Avenue.

10:31 p.m. – A civil dispute between roommates was reported on Blossomcrest Road.

 

Monday, Feb. 7 

12:38 a.m. – Police checked on a report of a person sleeping in a car on Lincoln Street.

12:57 a.m. – A driver on Lowell Street was cited for driving with a suspended license.

7:58 a.m. – Larceny of a sculpture was reported on Bedford Street. A Quality Inn guest reported a 5- to 6-inch wire sculpture of a sailboat was missing from his room. It was made by him, and he valued it at $1,000. There were no signs of forced entry.

9:30 a.m. – Two large black dogs were reported in a resident’s yard on Forest Street.

10:10 a.m. – A barking dog complaint was received from Grassland Street.

10:35 a.m. – A car was reported as disabled on Lowell Street.

11:47 a.m. – Police received a BOLO from Burlington Police.

12:52 p.m. – Credit card fraud was reported on Carville Avenue.

3:17 p.m. – Snow dumping was reported on Reed Street.

3:53 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Earl Street.

4:48 a.m. – Police conduced a well-being check on East Emerson Road.

7:00 p.m. – A car was reported disabled on Waltham Street.

11:04 p.m. – A car was repossessed on Marrett Road.
