Sunday, Oct. 3

9:42 a.m. – A complaint was received about a tour bus parked in the wrong area on Mass Avenue.

10:25 a.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Bedford Street.

10:53 a.m. – An accident occurred on Worthen Road at Lincoln Street.

11:30 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Meriam Street.

4:10 p.m. – A dog was found on Cliffe Avenue.

5:20 p.m. – A low-hanging wire was reported on Marrett Road.

5:35 p.m. – Non-criminal property damage to a car was reported on Marrett Road.

8:38 p.m. – A noise complaint was received from Maple Street.

9:51 p.m. – A backpack was left at Dunkin Donuts on Waltham Street. The owner returned, but the backpack was gone and the owner cancelled their credit cards. Before doing so, charges had already been made. The backpack was found in Watertown, minus the wallet and credit cards and cash.

 

Saturday, Oct. 2

2:15 a.m. – Suspicious activity by a car was reported on Bedford Street.

6:48 a.m. – A car was reported stolen on Bedford Street. The car belonged to a gas station employee who'd left the keys in the car while opening the station after arriving at 6 a.m. The car was later recovered in Londonderry, N.H. and a police investigation continues.

8:47 a.m. – A tree limb was reported down on Blossom Street.

8:53 a.m. – Police assisted Woburn police with a funeral for an officer.

8:56 a.m. – Police escorted participants in the Battle Road Memorial March on Mass Avenue.

11:31 a.m. – A parking complaint was received from Mass Avenue.

12:05 p.m. – A wallet was found on Mass Avenue at Depot Square.

1:30 p.m. – A 3-year-old girl was reported missing on Mass Avenue. She was found moments later after wandering from Michelson's Shoes to the Upper Crust.

2:00 p.m. – A breaking and entering was reported at a home on Bedford Street. The resident reported hearing noises in the home. Police searched the area and arrested a Hyde Park man who they say stole jewelry from the home. Robert F. Cherry, 50, of 139 Child St., was charged with breaking and entering during the day with intent to commit a felony, breaking into a depository of valuables, malicious destruction of property over $250 and larceny from a building, police said.

3:11 p.m. – An accident occurred on Hartwell Avenue.

5:01 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Bedford Street.

7:43 p.m. – Suspicious activity by a car was reported on Blake Street.

9:01 p.m. – Suspicious activity by a car was reported on Courtyard Place.

11:23 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Blossomcrest Road.

 

Friday, Oct. 1

12:00 a.m. – Police assisted Waltham police on Waltham Street.

12:45 a.m. – A suspicious person was reported on Patterson Road.

9:12 a.m. – A tree was reported down across Marrett Road.

9:27 a.m. – A tree limb was reported down on Oakland Street.

10:49 a.m. – A truck was reported to have taken wires down on Chase Avenue.

12:10 p.m. – A tree limb was reported down on Watertown Street.

12:25 p.m. – Trash blowing into the travel lane was reported on Rte. 128.

12:28 p.m. – An object was reported in the road on Spring Street.

1:48 p.m. – A wire was reported down on Fessenden Way.

2:28 p.m. – A Scrimshaw pendant was reported lost on Woburn Street.

2:28 p.m. – Police assisted with a loose dog on Harding Road.

4:54 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Mass Avenue.

6:46 p.m. – A hanging tree limb was reported on Fletcher Avenue.

 

Thursday, Sept. 30

11:48 a.m. – A criminal process was served on Grove Street.

12:32 p.m. – A wire was reported down on Mass Avenue at Cedar Street.

12:34 p.m. – Police checked on the well-being of a child walking on Bedford Street. The child was walking home from school.

1:21 p.m. – Tree branches were reported down on Waltham Street.

1:26 p.m. – A duffel bag was found on Waltham Street.

2:08 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Stedman Road. Multiple cars were cited.

2:32 p.m. – An erratic driver was reported on Volunteer Way.

3:09 p.m. – A wire was reported down on Cushing Street.

3:17 p.m. – A tree limb was reported down on the Bikeway behind Seasons Four.

3:57 p.m. – A watch valued at $250 was reported stolen from a resident on Lowell Street.

3:59 p.m. – A liquor law violation was reported at Nikki's Liquors. A clerk sold alcohol to a minor. Both the clerk and the minor were summonsed.

4:27 p.m. – A tree limb was reported down on Maple Street.

5:42 p.m. – A car was reported disabled on Mass Avenue.

5:52 p.m. – A civil dispute was reported on Follen Road. A resident reported damage to her tree by a hatchet. It was determined it may have been caused by her landscapers.

6:35 p.m. – A parking complaint was received from Stedman Road.

8:31 p.m. – After a traffic stop on Reed Street, police cited two people for possession of marijuana.

9:05 p.m. – A rear window of a car parked in a lot on Bedford Street was smashed, and a laptop valued at $2,500 was taken from the car.

9:36 p.m. – Trash dumping was reported on Mass Avenue.

9:54 p.m. – A tree limb was reported down on Hancock Street.

10:25 p.m. – A wire was reported down on Lowell Street.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 29

5:30 a.m. – A door was found ajar at Captain Parker Arms. The resident believed she might have left it that way, but police checked the home. Nothing was found.

7:59 a.m. – A cutoff saw was reported stolen from a building on Patriot Way.

8:03 a.m. – A suspicious car parked in the area was reported on Burlington Street.

8:20 a.m. – A criminal process was served on Calvin Street.

9:31 a.m. – Fraud was reported on Sutherland Road. A debit card was used fraudulently to open a cell phone account.

2:01 p.m. – Vandalism to property was reported on Harrington Road. A bench behind the Unitarian Church was discovered to have been vandalized prior to Sept. 25.

4:00 p.m. – A backpack was found on Mass Avenue.

4:03 p.m. – A black backpack was reported lost on Kimball Road.

4:15 p.m. – A bicycle was reported stolen at Depot Square.

5:03 p.m. – An accident occurred on Lowell Street.

5:49 p.m. – A 16-year-old female was reported missing on Pelham Road. The teen returned on her own.

6:12 p.m. – A domestic dispute between a father and son was reported on Constitution Road.

6:36 p.m. – Threats were reported on Emerson Gardens Road.

6:49 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Valleyfield Street.

7:28 p.m. – Fraud outside Lexington was reported on Fottler Avenue.

7:31 p.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Parker Street.

7:51 p.m. – A car was reported parked in the crosswalk on Waltham Street.

11:35 p.m. – Suspicious activity was reported on Lawn Avenue.

 

Tuesday, Sept. 28

8:18 a.m. – A complaint about a dog running loose was received from Bedford Street.

9:02 a.m. – An accident occurred on Bedford Street.

9:40 a.m. – A parking complaint of a car parked in a lot for several days was received from Bedford Street.

1:07 p.m. – Two people were cited for marijuana possession on Waltham Street.

2:04 p.m. – Fraud was reported on Harbell Street. Several accounts were opened in a resident's name.

2:23 p.m. – A bicycle was reported stolen on Lincoln Street.

4:28 p.m. – An object was found in the road on Hartwell Avenue.

4:50 p.m. – A hit-and-run accident was reported on Stedman Road.

5:06 p.m. – Catalytic converters were reported stolen from a car on Lincoln Street.

 

Monday, Sept. 27

1:30 a.m. – A domestic dispute was reported on Burlington Street between a father and daughter.

7:36 a.m. – A dead raccoon was reported on Mass Avenue at the Bikeway.

8:05 a.m. – A car was reported as disabled on Pleasant Street.

8:05 a.m. – A Grant Street resident reported his laptop was stolen between Friday at 11 p.m. and Saturday at 7 a.m. There was no sign of forced entry. The computer was kept in a computer bag near an unlocked side door of the home.

9:06 a.m. – An accident occurred on Pleasant Street.

10:03 a.m. – A break-in was reported on Coach Road. A resident reported her doorbell was rang, and then a glass window was broken. Entry to the home was not gained.

3:55 p.m. – Parking enforcement was requested on Maple Street.

5:47 p.m. – A criminal process was served on Calvin Street.

5:35 p.m. – A driver on Waltham Street was cited for driving with a suspended license.

6:48 p.m. – A Lexington man was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Waltham. Sam W. Missel, 25, of 209 Katahdin Drive, was charged with threatening to commit a crime, police said.

7:05 p.m. – A noise complaint was received from Emerson Gardens Road.

8:31 p.m. – A restraining order violation was reported on Main Campus Drive. Michael R. Hernandez, 21, of 3211 Main Campus Drive, was arrested and charged with violating a restraining order, police said.

9:04 p.m. – A car was reported as disabled on Rte. 128.

9:04 p.m. – A suspicious car was reported on Springdale Road.
