A detour is currently in effect at the 400 block of Lowell Street, between Woburn and East streets, due to a live wire down in the street, according to an announcement from the town. NStar officials arrived around 1:30 p.m., and are working with a tree removal company to work on clearing the area to get to the wire. Fire officials said they expect to be on the scene for awhile.  Police are currently detouring traffic off Lowell Street.
