Five first-floor residents were displaced but are temporarily staying upstairs, while the Ludlow Fire Department continues investigating what’s believed to be an accidental blaze. 
• Woman hospitalized after vehicle flies over fence on I-90 in Ludlow (wwlp.com) — Emergency crews responded Monday after a driver’s car went airborne off I-90 in Ludlow, flew over a fence, and landed on Chapin Street, sending the woman to a local hospital with injuries. State police from the Westfield Barracks are investigating how the vehicle veered from the left lane, and no additional injuries or road closures have been reported so far.
• District attorney drops drug trafficking case after violating discovery rules (bangordailynews.com) — A drug trafficking case involving a man from Ludlow was dropped by a Maine district attorney’s office after a judge twice faulted prosecutors over discovery violations.
