• After closing of medical center, Nashoba Valley towns get $5M from state (telegram.com) — Lunenburg’s Fire Department is set to receive at least $100,000 as part of a $5 million state package shoring up emergency medical services after the closure of Nashoba Valley Medical Center. The money will reimburse EMS costs through mid-2027 and may grow based on call volume and transport times, helping ensure local ambulances can keep pace with longer trips to emergency rooms.
   

• Local roundup: Blue Knights top Panthers (sentinelandenterprise.com) — Lunenburg High’s boys and girls basketball teams both stayed unbeaten, with the Blue Knights boys edging Quabbin 65-58 at home and the girls winning 41-29 on the road. Several Lunenburg players hit double figures in the victories.
