Residents can watch side-by-side room burns to see how sprinklers slow or extinguish flames, reduce toxic smoke, and give families more time to escape.

4. Healey urges ICE to halt deportation flights out of Hanscom (nbcboston.com) — A Lynn-based multi-faith network, the Essex County Community Organization, is joining other groups pressing Gov. Maura Healey to use her authority to protect immigrants amid federal deportation efforts. Their call comes as Healey urges ICE to stop using Hanscom Field for rapid deportation flights, arguing many affected Massachusetts residents lack criminal records and are being separated from families and legal support.
