Almost Zero Foreclosure Activity For 2013 in Lynnfield
As of the end of April, only one foreclosure petition reported in Lynnfield.
Foreclosure activity continued to be nearly nonexistent in Lynnfield as the second quarter got underway, according to recent data from the Warren Group.
The real estate information company reports that as of the end of April, Lynnfield had seen only one foreclosure petition – with no foreclosure auctions or deeds reported.
At this point in 2012, there had been nine foreclosure petitions in Lynnfield – three of them last April alone. There had also been four foreclosure auctions in Lynnfield as of the end of April 2012, according to the Warren Group.
Statewide, foreclosures were reportedly down about 60% since last April.

“The real estate market has improved dramatically in 2013 with median prices up 11 percent and this has slowed foreclosures," said Timothy M. Warren Jr., CEO of The Warren Group.
