North Shore Winter Wonderland Skating Rink Returns For 12th Season

The SBLI Rink at MarketStreet in Lynnfield will open for the winter season on Friday.

LYNNFIELD, MA — The holiday season is about to kick into gear at MarketStreet in Lynnfield with the return of the Holiday Stroll and opening of the SBLI skating rink for a 12th winter season.

"The holidays are such a magical time at MarketStreet," said Charlotte Woods, General Manager of MarketStreet." Whether guests are here to shop at new retailers, including ALO and local businesses such as The Point and Cosmo Capri, dine at seasonal favorites, or explore a new bite at Union Square Donuts or CAVA, or just take in the festive spirit, there’s truly something for everyone."

Recent store and eatery openings at MarketStreet include ALO, the luxury apparel brand for both women and men, and The Point, a locally owned retail lounge offering premium men's clothing. Just in time for the holidays, MarketStreet also welcomes CAVA, the fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant brand, Union Square Donuts, the beloved donut and coffee shop, and Cosmo Capri, a women's and children’s clothing and accessories pop-up joining the property for the season.

Opening Friday is Rowan, the ear-piercing and hypoallergenic jewelry brand.

The SBLI Rink will be open Mondays through Fridays from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Skate rentals are $6.

This year's Holiday Stroll is Dec. 13 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and features an afternoon of holiday shopping, creative crafts, seasonal drinks, a magical tree lighting finale and an appearance from Santa.
