Diwali Party and Holiday Fundraisers Going On This Week
A look at what's coming up in and around Lynnfield.

Today is Monday, November 4. Here are five things worth knowing today.
Today from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. the Lynnfield Library is holding a Diwali Party to celebrate the Hindu and Sikh festival. The kids will hear a story about the mythology behind the holiday and will also make a craft and sample some Indian food. All ages welcome.
The Friends of the Lynnfield Senior Center will be hosting their Second Annual Purse, Jewelry, Scarves and Furs Sale on Tuesday, November 5th at 9am. Come and shop all the beautiful accessories. Find that one special piece for yourself or the perfect gift, just in time for the holidays!!! The Senior Center is located at 525 Salem St, Lynnfield MA 01940. 781-598-1078. Please, no early birds.

Note From The LHS Chorus: The Lynnfield High School Chorus is selling holiday wreaths from now until
November 14th. The natural balsam fir wreaths are 25" and beautifully decorated either in the classic ($25), Hanukkah ($25), cranberry splash ($28), or Victorian style ($29). The classic wreath is also available in a 48" size. The Hanukkah wreaths will be delivered by November 27th and the other wreaths will be delivered between December 2nd and 6th. Orders can be taken by any member of the Lynnfield High School Chorus or by contacting Laura Dillon at 781-334-6890 or dillon.lb@verizon.net. Sales will benefit the Lynnfield Vocal Arts which raises money to support the Lynnfield High School choral program.
The Pioneer Band Pie Sale also continues throughout much of November. You can order 11 different kinds of pies, last day is Nov. 20. Click here for information.
