Foreclosure Activity Minimal in Lynnfield This Year

Foreclosure activity in Lynnfield remains barely existent with more than half of 2013 now passed.

According to new data from the Warren Group, as of the end of June there had been only one foreclosure petition filed in Lynnfield for 2013, compared to nine at that point in 2012.

There were also two foreclosure auctions and one foreclosure deed on record for Lynnfield in 2013, compared to six auctions and two deeds for that point in 2012.

"Aside from the rise in prices, a healthy economy, improved employment picture and favorable loan modification legislation is causing these steep decreases," said Timothy Warren, CEO of the Warren Group.
