Lynnfield Dog Tags Now Available

2016 dog licenses will expire on Dec. 31.

LYNNFIELD, MA – Dog tags for 2017 are now available in Lynnfield, and 2016 tags will expire on Dec. 31.

State law requires that all dogs six months or older must be licensed and up-to-date on rabies vaccines. The license period is from Jan. 1 to the following Dec. 31. A fee of $10 per dog will apply to any owners who fail to comply by March 1.

Tags can be purchased in person at the Lynnfield Town Clerk's office, through the mail, or online. To get a tag, owners will need a current copy of the dog's rabies certificate and acceptable payment: cash or check. Online purchases can be made with a credit or debit card.
