We are pleased to introduce meeScan, our new self-checkout service! meeScan is totally contactless and does not require interaction with library staff. You can still visit the Circulation Desk to borrow, but meeScan offers the option for a private checkout experience.

Try out the new kiosk set up across from the Circulation Desk. All you will need is your library card and materials to check out. Scan the barcode on the back of your library card to open your account. Then, scan the barcode on the front of your book, DVD, music, etc., to check out the item. When you are done, hit “Finish,” and you’re good to go. You will automatically receive an email receipt. It’s that fast and simple.

Check it out for yourself! The next time you visit, grab a stack of books and take the meeScan for a test drive. If you have questions about using the meeScan, please call the library at 781-334-5411 or email the Reference Desk at lfd@noblenet.org.

Did you know that much of what you do and see at the library is not paid for out of the library’s budget, but from funds raised by FOLL? Have you participated in a program? Used a library pass? Used the printer? All FOLL funded!

Being a FOLL member is a way to support the library – it can be as simple as the donation provided by your membership fee, volunteering at one of our book sales, or getting involved with the FOLL Board.
