Man Arrested After Homeowner Spots Vehicle Break-In

Lynnfield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Monday, October 28 and Wednesday morning, October 30.
On Monday, October 28 at 6:24 a.m. a motorist reported striking a deer near the Purley Burrill gas station.
At 7:49 a.m. a minor accident was reported on Condon Circle.
At 9:50 a.m. Bourque Road resident called about two men sitting in a landscaping truck. They reported they had just finished a job.
At 1:07 p.m. police took a walk-in report about harassing phone calls.
At 3:18 p.m. an accident with no injury was reported on Summer Street.
At 4 p.m. police were informed of tools stolen from a construction site on Laurel Road.
On Tuesday, October 29 at 6:53 p.m. police took a report involving harassing phone calls.
At 8:50 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious man walking on Summer Street. He turned out to be a motorist out of gas and police assisted him.
On Wednesday, October 30 at 6:37 a.m. a caller on Carol Ann Road reported that a man was breaking into his car. Further investigation revealed that other nearby properties had also allegedly been targeted. Police arrested Charles Giardina, 30, 52 White Street, East Boston, and charged him with two counts of breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the daytime for felony, and breaking and entering a building in the daytime for felony.
