PHOTOS: Lynnfield's Haunted High School

For years, Lynnfield High School students have put on the biannual “Haunted High School” for kids and their families in town. 

Last Sunday, it was that time once again for LHS to take on its more haunted persona. These images provided by Marlene Faria Connelly provide a look at what it looked like this year. Connolly also provided this letter from the LHS PTO thanking the community for their support at this year's event: 

On behalf of the LHS PTO, we offer our thanks to the 100+ Lynnfield High School students who volunteered their time, talent, energy, and effort to make Haunted High School a success. The students worked diligently over two days preparing an evening that amused, entertained, and scared hundreds of visitors on Sunday, October 27. 

We also thank Lynnfield Middle School volunteers Julia Colucci, Nina Dunn, Danielle Percoskie, Ian Rigg, and Steven Scangas. 

To the Lynnfield families who generously donated cases of water and bags of candy, thank you! Your generosity is greatly appreciated. 

A special thank you goes to the adult volunteers who gave up their Sunday to help anywhere they were needed: Mrs. Axiotakis, Mrs. Bartalotta, Mrs. Boehner, Mrs. Colucci, Mrs. Condardo, Mrs. Dunn, Mr. and Mrs. Hayden, Mrs. LaRussa, Mrs. Mazzarella, Mr. and Mrs. Moorman, Mrs. Percoskie, Mrs. Precourt, Mr. Robert, Mrs. Sampson, Mrs. Scangas, Mr. Welter, and Mrs. Zeraschi. We are very grateful for your hard work, patience, and good humor. LHS could not have had this event without you!

Our appreciation also goes to Principal Cleary and Assistant Principal Cyr, to the custodial staff, and to the Lynnfield Fire and Police departments for their assistance and support.

And we offer our thanks to the Lynnfield community for coming to this special Halloween event. We hope you had fun!
