LYNNFIELD, MA – A community event next week seeks to shed light on just what tweens and teens are thinking, and how their brains are developing. Dr. Ruth Potee will be at the Lynnfield Middle School on Oct. 27, 7 p.m., to talk about what parents should know about tween and teen brain development, including risk taking in kids of that age group. Potee will touch on issues of alcohol and substance abuse. Lynnfield Public Schools and the Lynnfield Police Department are presenting the free community event.
