Woman Finds Landscapers Working in Yard

The following is an excerpt from the Lynnfield Police log:

Tuesday, Aug. 30

  • At 12:28 a.m. police and fire responded to Essex Village for a carbon monoxide detector sounding.
  • At 9:34 a.m. a resident of Brook Drive called police about a coyote in her backyard. Animal Control was notified.
  • Stephanie E. Tescione, 18, 2 North Way, Lynnfield, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. and charged with speeding in a special regulation zone, driving with a revoked license and negligent driving on Salem Street.
  • Police and fire responded to a minor vehicle accident at 2:06 p.m. One person had minor injuries but did not go to the hospital.

Wednesday, Aug. 31

  • At 8:20 a.m. a resident of Salem Street said she looked out her window and saw a landscaper working in her yard. She did not hire any landscapers. 
  • At 10:02 a.m. a skunk was hit by a car on Forest Hill Avenue but was still alive. Animal Control was called.
  • Police investigated a break-in on Lynnbrook Road at 12:14 p.m.
  • The Fire Department responded to Center Village at 3:23 p.m. for a fire caused by food on the stove.
  • Police responded to North Broadway at 4:57 p.m. after a neighbor thought she heard a fight next door. Police found the resident had the T.V. on and was in the shower.

Thursday, Sep. 1

  • A tree was found in the roadway of Essex Street at 12:50 a.m.
  • At 8:17 a.m. a resident of Summer Street said sod was put down on Wednesday and overnight, someone in a vehicle had torn up the lawn. 
  • At 11:45 a.m. a 38-year-old man was placed into protective custody. 
  • At 9:48 p.m. the Fire Department investigated an illegal outdoor fire on Perkins Lane.

  • Police responded to Dunstan Road at 12:40 a.m. for a report of kids acting suspiciously.
  • A resident of Bishops Lane reported an unwanted party trespassing on the property at 9:30 a.m.
