2 Stabbed During Fight In Malden: Police

MALDEN, MA — A Malden man was arrested after two men were stabbed during a fight Wednesday night, police said.

Officers responded to the 700 block of Eastern Avenue around 6:40 p.m. for a reported fight in progress. Police found two men, both Malden residents, with non-life-threatening stab wounds. They were taken to the hospital, and a third man was placed under arrest, police said.

"The investigation is still active and ongoing at this time, but it does not appear to be a random act of violence and there is no continuing risk/danger to the community," Malden police said in a statement.
