Lifelong Malden Resident Honored as 'Linwood Person of the Year'

Prominent Maldonian Ann Madigan was recently honored at Hawkridge Delta as the “Linwood Person of the Year” by the Linwood Seniors for the many lives she has touched with her kindness and compassion for others.

Madigan, a lifelong Malden resident has always been devoted to the community; stepping up with volunteer work, supporting the Linden neighborhood and always willing to lend a hand, according to city officials.

A bench at the delta was installed in her honor with the assistance of Ward 8 City Councillor Jadeane Sica.

The Malden High School Chorus performed the National Anthem with the Linden STEAM Academy Lower School Chorus. Mayor Gary Christenson presented Ann with a citation on behalf of the City in recognition of her many years of service to the community.
