• Malden Receives Multiple State Grants To Fund Recreational Programs (patch.com) — Malden is set to expand outdoor recreation opportunities after receiving nearly $30,000 in state grants, including support for a locally run Outdoor Recreation as Medicine program. The funding will also back the third year of The Great Malden Outdoors Community Programs, offering affordable or free rock climbing and birding activities accessible by public transit for residents, including those with financial challenges.
