Malden Man Arraigned For Participating in Theater District Brawl Sunday Morning

Lance Gerald, 27, of Richard Street, has been charged with public fighting and disorderly conduct.

According to a statement from Suffolk District Attorney, a Malden man has been arraigned and charged with affray - meaning fighting in public - as well as disturbing the peace and resisting arrest, following a massive brawl in front of the Bijou Nightclub on Stuart Street in Boston.

Lance Gerald, 27, of Richard St., Malden, was arrested very early Sunday, alongside Anthony Haskins, Tyree Draughn, Melvin Jones, Luis Moran, and Hasan Taft, all of whom are from Boston.

A report from the Boston Herald regarding the situation says as many as 100 individuals were involved in the skirmish, and also says the individuals fighting each other were cheering each other on in a subsequent conflict with police.
