Malden Resident Speaks Out About Autism In Autobiography
The Boston Globe profiled Malden mom and autism activist Kim Walsh-Solio about her new book.

For many of us, our only knowledge of Autism comes from watching Max Braverman on NBC’s “Parenthood” television drama, and a vague understanding that Jenny McCarthy has some pretty weird ideas about how it’s connected to vaccinations, somehow.
So, nothing, really.
But Kim Walsh-Solio and her son Andrew, of Malden, both have quite a bit of firsthand experience with the condition.

A recent Boston Globe article profiles Walsh-Solio and her experiences raising her Autistic child, as documented at length in her new book, “What’s Wrong With Andrew?”
She told the source she hopes sending her story to the masses will “spread Autism compassion, which is just as important as autism awareness. They should go hand in hand.”
