Malden Resident Tests Positive For Coronavirus

MALDEN, MA — A Malden resident has tested positive for the new coronavirus, the city's health department said. The case is connected to last month's Biogen conference in Boston that is responsible for the majority of the more than 120 cases across Massachusetts.
The person has been under a 14-day self-quarantine since testing positive.
The Malden Health Department said it has been in contact with the person and taking precautionary measures.

"It is reported that the person’s symptoms are reducing and that they are doing well," the health department said.
