Malden Swears In Newest Police Officer
The young woman officially joined the force days after graduating from the academy.
MALDEN, MA — Allison Quijada-Menjivar was sworn in as the newest member of the Malden Police Department Monday.
Quijada-Menjivar graduated from the Municipal Police Training Academy in Lynnfield on Friday, Feb. 28. She was originally hired by the department last September.
Malden’s newest officer was joined by her family, Police Chief Glenn Cronin, and Commissioner Barbara Murphy in the department’s community room for her ceremony.
