Malden Woman Injured in Medford Rollover Expected to Recover
The driver was treated at a Boston hospital.
A Malden woman who was injured in a rollover accident on Governors Avenue Thursday afternoon was discharged from the hospital later that night.
Youdelyne Simon, 21, was behind the wheel when her 1998 tan Toyota Avalon flipped onto the center median on Governors Avenue near Porter Road about 3:30 p.m. Thursday.
She was rushed by ambulance to Mass General Hospital with serious injuries, police said. She was released later that night, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Two other cars were involed in the accident near Medford Square but the driver of the Toyota was the only person injured, according to police.
The other cars involved were a grey Subaru Impreza and a black Toyota Avalon. The Subaru had two people inside, Sandra and Luis Valdez both of Melrose, according to an accident report. They were not hurt in the accident, police said.

The third car was parked on the northbound side of Governors Avenue and was unoccupied, according to the report.
A State Police accident reconstruction team was called to the scene Thursday. The accident remained under investigation Friday.
