Who Won the Thanksgiving Ping-Pong Appreciation Tournament in Malden?

In collaboration with Malden High School, the Malden Senior Center and the Lexington Chinese Language School, the Chinese Culture Connection’s Second Annual Thanksgiving Appreciation Ping-Pong Tournament was recently held at the Malden High School.

More than 17 teams from the Greater Boston area participated in the well-attended event that aims to promote active social and physical activities among senior residents. The CCC holds this annual event during the month of Thanksgiving in an effort to express sincere appreciation to the City of Malden for its continued support, while encouraging seniors to be grateful and productive members of the community.

There were three categories of competition, each with a winning team. First, second and third place winners received medals and restaurant gift certificates. The event was sponsored by Yong Yong Restaurant, All Seasons Table, Councillor-At-Large Debbie DeMaria, Golden Living Center at Dexter House, Wow Barbecue, Sun Kong Restaurant, and FuLoon Restaurant. Mayor Christenson attended to assist in presented the awards to the winners.
