Assault With Dangerous Weapon, Larceny: Mansfield Police Log

August 7

12:31 a.m. - An officer was requested at Cumberland Farms on Chauncy Street after a person inside said he missed a court date and wanted to turn himself in. Gary Songini, 43, of Wrentham, was arrested on a warrant.

9:07 a.m. - During a traffic stop on North Main Street, a 21-year-old from Fall River was issued a summons for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speeding.

9:28 a.m. - A 39-year-old on North Main Street was issued a summons for operating an uninsured motor vheicle and operating a motor vehicle with suspended registration.

12:23 p.m. - An 18-year-old from Ashland on West Street was issued a summons for malicious destruction of property worth less than $250.

August 8

The following people were taken into custody during the Marilyn Manson/Rob Zombie concert at the Xfinity Center:

  • Six people were taken into protective custody.
  • A 29-year-old from Londonderry, New Hampshire was issued a summons for assault and battery.

12:54 p.m. - A 22-year-old from Salem on Chauncy Street was issued a summons for larceny of items worth more than $250.


August 9

5:15 p.m. - A 42-year-old was taken into protective custody and a 40-year-old was issued a summons for assault and battery on a family/household member.

10:59 p.m. - A fight was reported between two men on Court Street. While officers were on their way, one man left in a black truck and the other left in a beige vehicle. Both men were located in Sharon. Daniel Meadows, 20, of Sharon, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery and a 23--year-old from Sharon was issued a summons for assault and battery.
