Coach Punches Ref, Disorderly Conduct: Mansfield Police Log

April 20
5:45 a.m. - During a traffic stop on Central Street, a 37-year-old from Mansfield and a 29-year-old from Norton were issued summons for operating a motor vehicle negligently so as to endanger, speeding in violation of a special regulation, and operating a motor vehicle which does not meet RMV safety standards.

April 21
10:14 a.m. - A 29-year-old from Brockton was issued a summons on Maple Street near Jennifer Drive for operating with a suspended license, not having registration in possession, and speeding in violation of a special regulation.

7:00 p.m. - A caller at the M-Plex on Oxford Road reported a coach who punched a referee in the face. The coach, Michael Tardy, 37, of Providence, Rhode Island, was arrested and issued a summons for assault and battery on a person over 60 or disabled with injury.
April 22
12:16 a.m. - A caller at Domino’s on Chauncy Street reported a drunk belligerent woman in the lobby. The caller told police that the woman was upset because she was hold for five minutes. The woman, Pamela Ryan, 52, of Mansfield, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
