July 31 9:29 a.m. - Edward McCann, 82, of Mansfield, was arrested on Noonan Street on a warrant. August 1 12:48 a.m. - An officer located a man sleeping behind Cumberland Farms on Chauncy Street. The man, a 32-year-old from Dedham, was taken into protective custody. At 8:01 p.m., police responded to a report of a drunk man on Hope Street who was looking for a ride to the train station. The same man was taken into protective custody. August 2 Jam'n 94.5 Summerjam at Xfinity Center The following people were taken into custody by police: <ul><li>Four people were taken into protective custody. </li><li>A 22-year-old was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault and battery on a police officer, and assault and battery on a family/household member. </li><li>A 29-year-old was arrested and charged with assault and battery on a family/household member. </li><li>MacKenzie Runyan, 20, of Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. </li><li>A 20-year-old from Dartmouth was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. </li></ul>10:16 a.m. - A caller on Chauncy Street reported a man who was causing a disturbance and was asked to leave.
