Mansfield Fire and EMS Log: April 2-8

The following is from the Mansfield Fire and EMS log.

The Mansfield Fire Department and Emergency Medical services responded to a total of 63 calls last week.

 

April 2

1:18 p.m. Foxborough Fire reported a motor vehicle rollover at ramp to the Route 495 on North on Route 95 South.  Mansfield EMS transported one occupant to Norwood Hospital.

April 3

4:23 p.m. North Attleboro Fire reported a rollover and ejection north exit 5 of Route 95 North.

5:38 p.m.  Caller reported that he had had a tree cut down on his property on Willow Street and it may have struck a wire. At the time of the call, there was smoke coming from the basement. A light smoke condition was reported and dry chemical fire retardant brought in. Mansfield electric came and fixed the cause of the electrical problem after the fire was mitigated.

6:24 .m. Mansfield EMS responded to a mutual aid call in Norton for a motor vehicle collision on West Main Street. One occupant was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

April 4

3:51 p.m. Callers reported a motorcycle involved collision in front of the Benny’s on Copeland Drive. The motor cycle operated was transported to Norwood Hospital with minor injuries.

April 7

3:36 a.m. Mansifled Fire and EMS responded to a mutual aid call from Foxborough reporting a rollover at the intersection of Walnut Street and Route 140.
