Mansfield Police Log: Drugs, OUI and Samaritans

The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from May 1 to 3.

May 1

2:42 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that three months ago another patron of Kohl’s stole her purse containing approximately $900 in cash. Suspect wore a suit and was described as running scams as a “good Samaritan.”

11:11 a.m. Caller reported that his vehicle was struck in the parking lot of the Red Roof Inn a week before.

11:57 a.m. Paula Daniels, 44, of 41 Central Street was arrested for possession of a class E substance.

12:49 p.m. James Longbardi, 41, of 41B Central Street was arrested for possession of class A and class B substances.

6:51 p.m. Caller reported a past larceny of a lift from his business on Oakland Street. Allegedly a lift was taken from the location. Caller reported that metal scrappers frequent the area and that he is concerned for other equipment.

7:03 p.m. Caller reported that his cell phone was stolen during class at the Qualters Middle School.

May 3

1:40 a.m. Thomas Frawley, 28 of 536 North Main Street was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and possession of an open container of alcohol  while in a motor vehicle.
