Mansfield Police Log: OUI, Catalytic Converters and B&E

The following is from the Mansfield Police log from April 9 to April 12.

April 9

2:49 p.m. Caller from Samsonite reported the theft of a catalytic converter and other vehicle parts from a company vehicle parked on West Street. Incident occurred sometime over the weekend.

4:40 p.m. Caller reported that his apartment on East Street was broken into sometime in the morning between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. Apparently, someone broke in through a window and took a PS3 and ten games.

April 10

7:48 a.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his vehicle was broken into sometime during the night while it was parked on Court Street. Two other vehicles in the driveway were broken into, and a GPS was taken.

5:23 p.m. Reporting party came into the station and stated that his daughter took two checks from his check book and made them out for $400.

9:08 p.m. Caller reported someone had broken into his apartment.

April 11

10:23 p.m. Michael Tobin, 52, of 14 Hillcrest Rd. in Foxborough was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
