Mansfield Police Log: OUI, Graffiti, and B&E
The following is from the Mansfield Police Log from June 30 to July 2.

June 30
12:40 p.m. Gregory Fay, 51, of 101 Chilson Ave. was arrested for domestic assault and battery.
4:18 p.m. Caller reported his front door has been tagged with the characters “F U,” during the night on Smith Road.

8:00 p.m. Brian Duphily, 51, and Linda Duphily, 52, both of 23 Leroy St. in Attleboro were arrested for assault and battery at the Canoe River Campgrounds after an altercation with another campsite.
8:55 p.m. Caller reported that her iPhone and pcketbook were stolen at the Stop and Shop around 8 p.m.

July 1
6:02 a.m. Evan McMorrow, 21, of 66 Highland St. in South Easton was arrested for operation of a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle. This is his second OUI offense.
11:13 p.m. Caller reported his vehicle was broken into at the Stop and Shop.
11:46 a.m. Caller reported a past hit and run in the 21 East St. parking lot.
July 2
6:54 a.m. Caller reported a white male in his 50s trying to steal a bicycle. Police found that the bike was the property of the male’s daughter and he was picking it up for her. He demonstrated to police that he could unlock the bike chain.
9:44 a.m. Caller reported damage to a side door at the Spaulding Court on Crocker Street. Caller believed it was someone trying to break in to the apartment complex.
10:36 a.m. Caller reported damage to a tree and a wall on his property on South Main Street. Police deduced that the damage was from a motor vehicle which was unable to clear the turn from South Main Street onto Hall Street.
