Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

I’ve never seen a more dedicated or organized teacher. She spends 2-3 weeks in August getting everything set up…her room, her plans for the students, an emergency folder for substitutes if she has to be out a day. She has 3-4 bookcases filled with books for the kids. The majority paid for by herself. My girlfriend (her Mom) and I have helped her out in her room and I was just blown away. Rebecca has the best looking and most organized room in the school. She has unbelievable compassion and patience for her students. I can’t say enough about her. She’s what every parent wants in a teacher.
