Mansfield Town Meeting Part Deux Roundup: Zoning Zoning Zoning

Mansfield voted 90-85 in favor of article 45 brought up by William Clemmey, but since it was not a two-thirds majority, the article did not pass. It asked for a zoning designation to a business overlay district of parcels along and inside of Copeland Drive from the Wendy’s to the Foxborough town line and Chauncy Street from Mobil to Route 140.

Article 46, a petition from Clemmey to sell off portions of a property already voted at last session of town meeting to be given to conservation purposes was deemed out of order by the moderator.

The petitioner withdrew articles 47 and 48. The articles concerned the Chocolate Factory developments.
