Algae Advisory Lifted At Mansfield's Fulton Pond

The cyanobacteria advisory at the pond has been lifted, after tests showed algae levels are back to safe levels.

MANSFIELD, MA — Algae levels at Mansfield's Fulton Pond are now back to safe levels. The cyanobacteria advisory for the pond has been lifted, town officials announced Thursday. Fulton Pond has previously been under advisory after unsafe levels of the harmful algae was discovered there in previous weeks.

On Thursday, the Department of Public Health announced that test results now show cyanobacteria at the pond has decreased to safe levels. For more information, call the Health Department at 508-261-7366 or email health@mansfieldma.com.
