The Pittie Stop Rescue in Mansfield Receives $5,000 Donation
Local nonprofit Oranges from Morgan donated the funds from its annual dog calendar fundraiser to the rescue.

MANSFIELD, MA — The Pittie Stop Rescue, a nonprofit rescue for American Pit Bull Terriers in Mansfield, received a $5,000 donation Sunday from Boxford nonprofit Oranges from Morgan.
Oranges from Morgan was established by the family of Morgan Mayo, who lost her battle with addiction. Mayo always had a passion for the pit bulls and wanted to change the negative perceptions associated with the breed.
The donation to The Pittie Stop Rescue was the result of Oranges from Morgan's annual Marley 2021 dog calendar fundraiser, which features photos of Mayo's rescued blue nose pit bull.
