Proposed Mansfield Budget Cracks $96 Million
Voters will consider a $96.3 million budget at May's Town Meeting.

MANSFIELD, MA — Voters will consider a $96.3 million budget at May's Town Meeting.
The budget is a 2 percent increase over the current year budget and includes an extra person in the fir department, a second school recourse officers, a mechanic for the department of public works and some fee increases, according to the Sun Chronicle. School spending accounts for $51 million of the budget.
The Annual Town Meeting is scheduled for May 15 at 7 p.m. at Mansfield High School.
