Rotary Club of Mansfield Auction in May

Ninth-annual auction donating proceeds to scholarships for Mansfield and Norton students.

The will hold its ninthth Annual Auction at the , Friday, May 4, 2012.  Starts at 6 p.m.  This year attendees are asked to come dressed supporting your favorite sports team. 

The auction will consist of a live auction, silent auction, raffles, entertainment, great food, and drinks and a door prize of a 48 inch Sony Flatscreen. Proceeds from the auction will provide scholarships for Mansfield and Norton students, assist the work of the Kennedy-Donovan Center, and provide camperships to the Mansfield Recreation. 

Raffle items include:  an autographed/framed Ray Bourque Bruins jersey, use of a home in Martha’s Vineyard for a weekend, various sports tickets and memorabilia and restaurant and hotel gift certificates.  These items and other great items available for bid, are being donated by local businesses.

Over the last eight years, the Rotary Club of Mansfield auctions have raised over $140,000 for local charities, as well as various Rotary International causes.  With the upcoming auction, we will also be donating to Rotary International’s Polio Plus/Gates Foundation Challenge to assist countries throughout the world that have not yet eradicated Polio.
