Schools Getting New Water Fixtures To Address Lead, Copper Issues
The combined total for the water stations and bubblers is about $2,600.

MANSFIELD, MA — The fix is in for water bubblers and stations which had high lead and copper levels.
Director of Facilities and Custodial Services Matthew Jacques told the Mansfield News that new bubbles will be installed at the Robinson School and Qualters Middle School this fall. Qualters will receive five new water bottle filling stations and 10 bubblers and water stations at Robinson.
The combined total for the water stations and bubblers is about $2,600.

Testing last winter confirmed that water sources at both schools tested lead for lead and copper. At the time, Superintendent Teresa Murphy said the source was the plumbing and fixtures.
