MANSFIELD, MA — Outside groups will have to pay a little more to use Mansfield school facilities. The school committee recently approved a series of rental fee hikes. The increases do not apply to any town groups and is mainly for outside groups and money making organizations, according to Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations Ed Donoghue. Here's what some of the changes includes: <ul><li>Alumni Field: From $60 an hour to $120 </li><li>Light Fee: $25 to $50 </li><li>Bathroom: $25 to $50 </li><li>Softball, baseball, and soccer fields: $50 to $75 </li></ul>Donoghue said the changes were in line with area towns, noting that the average hourly rate for a football field is between $100-150. Other fee adjustments includes tech/AV equipment, staffing and custodial. Auditorium, gymnasium, cafeteria, and classroom fees will remain the same. <hr />Image: File Photo
