Teen Killed In Mansfield By Train Was 'Ray Of Sunshine'
Kyle Johnson was killed by a train on the tracks near Norfolk Street Monday night.

MANSFIELD, MA — Friends and family of Kyle Johnson are in mourning after the teen's unexpected death Monday.
Johnson was killed by a train on the tracks near Norfolk Street Monday night. Police say foul play is not suspected.
His obituary posted on the Sperry & McHoul Funeral Home website says that Johnson was a 2016 graduate of North Attleboro High School and was attending Keene State College in New Hampshire at the time of his death.

He worked at Hilliard's Chocolates in Mansfield for the past four years and participated in the Best Pal’s organization at North Attleboro High School and Best Buddies at Bridgewater State. He also was a two-year coordinator for the Special Olympics event at the Attleboro High School.
"Without a doubt, Kyle’s favorite moments in life were those spent simply hanging out with family and friends. Known for his contagious laugh, he was a ray of sunshine who always had a kind word and smile for everyone he encountered," his obituary reads.

Visiting hours will be held at St. Mark's Church in Attleboro Friday from 4 to 8 p.m., with a funeral mass at St. Mark's to be held the next day at noon. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Attleboro will follow.
