WATCH: Construction Slows Traffic on Route 106

If you've traveled down Eastman Street lately, you've probably noticed some delays.

Traffic was at a standstill at times last week while construction crews worked on Route 106 near the Easton town line.

According to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, the project is 36 percent of the way done. The project description is as follows:

Work on this project consists of minor widening, milling and resurfacing, sidewalk construction and reconstruction, safety improvements at intersections, and drainage upgrades. The length of the project is 0.9 miles. Intersection improvements shall include turning lanes and acceleration lanes, blinking traffic signals, street lighting and signage.
