4-Year-Old Child Seriously Injured After Fall In Marblehead

MARBLEHEAD, MA — A 4-year-old child was seriously injured in a fall in Marblehead Friday night, police said.

Officers responded to a home around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a child who had fallen from a second-floor window. Police rendered aid to the child at the scene before firefighters and EMS crews arrived.

The child, who lives in Marblehead, was hospitalized with serious injuries, police said.

The incident is under investigation.
