It's not too early to start thinking about summer camp. Registration for many of the camps has started or is starting this month.

--Â Children's Island has provided families from the North Shore and around the world with a unique summer experience. Located on a picturesque 25-acre island one mile off the coast of Marblehead and Salem, five building with bathrooms and ample space for camp meetings, tents for overnights and shaded picnic area, volleyball net, archery range, beaches and playing fields abound.Â
Summer of the Hill -- There is a camp for whatever your age and interest at the JCC this summer. There’s PrimeTime (ages 16-months to 2 years), KinderCamp (ages 2.9 years to kindergarten),Simchah on the Hill (grades 1-7) and Jewish Teen Internship (grades 8-10). Summer on the Hill has new art, drama and sports programs, along with returning favorites like Cooking, Photography, Robotics and Krav Maga. Check out the Camp Guide HERE

Drama Camp -- Have a child that just loves to act? will hold a summer theatre program this July and August. Session One will run July 11-15 , Session Two is July 18-22,  Session Three will run August 29-Sept 2.  Join in a week of theatre fun. Write, produce and perform a play in one week and perform this original play the last day of the workshop for your family and friends. If you love theatre and love being creative and are between 6 and 12 years old, this is the workshop for you. Sign up for one week or all three weeks.
Dance Camp --  A Summer Intensive (Ages 12 and up) at is now a three week program from July 25 - August 12, With a performance on Saturday August 13. Ballet / Pointe,Variations / Modern / Stretch & Strength / Music Theory / Dance History / Injury Prevention / Gyrokinesis® will be covered. In week three, there will be a repertory week including daily technique class, choreography, rehearsals and will culminate in a performance on August 13. QUALIFICATIONS: For dancers ages 12 and up with ballet experience. Students will be assigned as Level 1 or 2. Evaluation required for new students. A young dancer's summer intensive will be held for ages 8 through 12 from July 11 to 15.
YMCA Camp -- If you haven't found the right camp yet, make sure you check out the variety of camps at the Y. Adventure Camp, Theatre Camp, Book Cooks, Chefs Camp, Iron Chefs Camp, World of Wizards, Author, Author, Discover the Great Artists & Wonderful World of Science, Sports Mania, Mini Sports Mania, Squash Camp will be offered. There is also Flag Football/Baseball, & Street Hockey Camps and gymnastics camp, just to name a few!Â
