5 Corners Kitchen Repeats for 'General Excellence' in Best of Boston Awards
One of just two "Best of Boston" winners from Marblehead in 2014 was 5 Corners Kitchen.

5 Corners Kitchen has been honored for its general excellence for the second straight year in the Best of Boston awards.
“The stylish bistro” named after the Marblehead intersection where it is located combines “lovingly prepared French cuisine” and “a distinctly New England sensibility,” according to Boston magazine.
This is the first time that a restaurant has repeated as the best restaurant for general excellence for north of Boston in back-to-back years.

The restaurant was inadvertently left off an initial list of 2014 Best of Boston winners provided by Boston magazine to Marblehead Patch. Becky’s Gourmet was the only other “Best of Boston” winner from Marblehead.
Chef Barry Edelman makes everything on his own “which translates to perfectly al dente house-made cavatelli with duck confit, and succulent mussels with basil-aioli-slathered grilled bread,” the magazine wrote.
