5 Things You Need To Know: Aug. 1

1. Weather -High's will be in the 80's today with a chance of thunderstorms and showers in the afternoon.

2. Bette Hunt - You have one more chance this summer to walk with Bette Hunt. Head to the Lee Mansion tomorrow for a walking tour from 6 to 8 p.m. through town. $15 non-members, $20 members of Marblehead Museum.

3. At the Sperry Top-Sider NOOD Regatta at the 123rd Annual Marblehead Race Week, Bight Me from the Rhodes 19 class, executed masterful nautical tactics on the Massachusetts Bay course, impressing judges enough to secure the title of Overall Winner. Led by Co-Skippers Charlie Pendleton and Jim Raisides, Bight Me produced a 20-point total in seven races over the course of the entire event to take top honors.

5. at the JCC today starting at 5:30 p.m. for a free class. They will use resist-a-balls, medicine balls and other fitness tools for low-impact cardio choreography and conditioning drills.
