The 73-year-old man was reported missing at about 5:30 p.m. from a home on Mason Street.

Salem officers were also contacted to assist by administering the LoJack SafetyNet system that uses a bracelet worn by a person with Alzheimer’s to track them down. He was found, though, shortly before 6:30 p.m. at Boston Yacht Club by a member of the Fire Department before the SafetyNet system was used.
