On Wednesday, a plan for a vigil Tuesday for Allie Castner was announced.
It was also announced the Conservation Commission has no say in the private piers proposed for Little Harbor and Marblehead Harbor. Neighbors fear this is setting a precedent that will wipe out open space along the shore.
Also this week, 17-year-old Sam Hart placed in a fly fishing tournament in Belize. He is already signed up for next year and hopes to do even better.
In a great community project, Marblehead High teens joined together this summer to collect life vests after their friend drowned in Lynn. Donations are still be accepted at the Marblehead Fire Department.
